Candice is interested in work that explores the following themes or areas. She is always looking for new collaborations, including grant writing to seed fund projects, research and STORYTELLING.

Community-Based Research (CBR)
CBR centres the knowledge, priorities, and lived experiences of communities in the research process. CBR is collaborative, participatory, and action-oriented, often conducted with communities rather than on them. I have experience using CBR as a powerful tool for organizations and communities aiming for sustainability — social, environmental and economic.

Storytelling
Indulging her passion for STORYTELLING as a “Cultural Myth Weaver,” Candice is writing in the domains of aging and wellness, women’s sovereignty, ancient pagan and Indigenous ways of knowing and being, and Celtic traditions. She also works as a thought contributor, ghostwriter, or public thought partner for changemakers and advocacy campaigns.

Community-Based Facilitation for Sustainability
Design and lead programs at the intersections of community empowerment, Indigenous wisdom, sustainable food, and environmental justice. I envision partnering with schools, municipalities, NGOs, or land trusts to co-create initiatives like community gardens, storytelling workshops, and youth wellness initiatives.

Decolonial Wellness & Education
Consulting or workshops on anti-oppressive, decolonizing methodologies to schools, universities, and nonprofits. My academic expertise and lived wisdom in knowledge co-creation can be transformed into keynote talks, train-the-trainer courses, or curriculum design for school boards, First Nations organizations, progressive NGOs, and rural health networks.

Youth Wisdom for the Future
The planet is on fire. Our children are inheriting this. We need a place-based space where youth are facilitators and visionaries of wellness, education, climate justice, and community futures. This must be co-designed with youth. We can start with storytelling circles, mentorship, or participatory research projects.

Strategic Advisor for Ethical Social Enterprises
I offer services in strategic relations, ethical marketing, and stakeholder engagement to mission-driven businesses or nonprofits. Values-alignment to operations and communications is critical to making a just brand authentic. This can be accomplished through facilitated consultation and a change management plan.
